Beginners Piano Lessons for Kids
Who is this course perfect for?
This piano course is perfect for children aged 6-11 who are new to the piano and want a fun, encouraging start to music. If you think your child learns best through play, exploration, and hands-on activities rather than just sitting still with a book for the whole lesson, they will thrive here.

What your child will do in this course:
Unlike traditional piano lessons with endless, boring repetition, your child will learn through fun activities and games designed to keep them motivated and engaged. Our Geometric Approach teaches essential skills such as reading notes, playing piano alone and together with others, singing, and rhythm, encouraging them to experiment and enjoy making music. At Studio MusicalMente, your child will gain complete musical knowledge.
What your child will gain by this course
Fun doesn’t mean less serious; in fact, by adding a fun aspect, kids are more inclined to continue playing the piano in the future. That’s how we keep them engaged during our sessions. Based on our teachers’ experience, in Studio MusicalMente, kids learn four times faster than in normal piano lessons, already learning the notes within the first two weeks.
Not only in terms of skills, but they also build self-confidence by being recognized for each achievement. Plus, by playing together with other kids, they will learn self-trust.

Your piano teacher
My name is Luca Ridolfo, and I am a piano teacher at Studio MusicalMente. During my studies, I took jazz and classical piano lessons with teachers from all over the world. I love to pass on the inspiration I received from them and my passion for music to my students. I used my teaching experience in Italy and Spain to develop a structured method that helps beginners learn to play songs from day one at their own pace and level.
Curious How Our Approach
Can Benefit Your Child?
Now that you’ve met me, Luca, I’d love to learn more about your child and their musical aspirations! Our Geometric Learning method is designed to make piano lessons engaging and effective for young learners. Let’s explore together if Studio MusicalMente is the right place for your child to start or continue their musical journey.

Frequently Asked Questions
"You mention games and fun. Will my child still learn "proper" piano skills like reading music?"
We combine fun with effective learning. We teach music reading skills naturally through our activities. Children learn to see patterns and understand notation as a helpful tool for playing songs they enjoy, not as a boring separate exercise. We build strong musical foundations including technique, ear training, and theory—all in an engaging way.
"How much practice is expected at home each week?"
Because our lessons are so interactive and cover many aspects, children often feel more motivated to explore what they've learned at home by themselves, without their parents telling them to practice. For beginners, we encourage short, consistent practice sessions rather than long, infrequent ones. The goal is to make practice enjoyable and a positive habit. We focus on quality and enjoyment over strict time quotas, especially in the early stages.
“How is this different from the piano lessons at home”
While at-home lessons offer convenience, our studio environment at Studio MusicalMente is specifically designed to supercharge your child's learning through our Geometric Learning approach. If we tried to bring everything we use into your home for each lesson (different pianos, different musical instruments and the games we use), it would be quite a setup!
“What are the costs and commitment involved?”
We offer different package options to suit various needs. We'll go over all the details regarding lesson fees, term lengths, and our policies during your free intro call, so you have a clear understanding before making any decisions.
