1. Sessions of one hour
In our lessons, it's not just about playing. In a one-hour session, you'll have time to practice, ask questions, and explore different activities, like playing alongside me on drums.
2. Musical sheets are included
You don't need to buy any other books. I provide everything you need without you having to spend extra money.
3. Booklet "First steps - The basics"
This booklet covers all the basics you need to play any song and helps you remember what you've learned in class.
4. Special discounts
As a student, you get discounts on courses that allow you to dive even deeper into the music. This will give you a greater understanding of what you are playing, which will also make you more confident in playing the piano.

Who I am
My name is Luca Ridolfo and I am a piano teacher at Studio MusicalMente. While studying piano, I took lessons in jazz and classical with teachers from all over the world. I get inspired by their musical perspective and I like to convey this to my students. I have developed a structured approach that allows beginners to play songs from day one. Luca has teaching experience in Italy and Spain.

How I can ensure the results you will achieve
No piano at home? Can’t find time to practice? No problem!
Unlike other teachers in Den Haag who only meet once per week, we offer multiple sessions throughout the week. This means you’ll practice primarily during your lessons, with an expert by your side, instead of practicing alone at home. You’ll always know exactly what to work on and make steady progress – even without a piano at home.
This is perfect if you have limited time to practice or don’t own a piano yet.

The lessons take place at Studio MusicalMente in the building “In Het Koorenhuis”. It is located 2 minutes away from the Grotemarkt in The Hague. It is easily accessible by public transportation ((Tram 6-4-2-3 and bus 25) and there is a parking lot for those coming by car.
HOWEVER...
THIS PIANO COURSE IS NOT FOR YOU IF:
- You’re seeking the cheapest option. My students choose these lessons for the unique experience and results I’ve worked hard to create—something you won’t find anywhere else in Den Haag.
- You work in the evenings (Monday to Thursday). Our adult classes start at 18:30, so please check the schedule before signing up.

Frequently Asked Questions
Yes, it is possible! The method we use in our Open Piano Group lessons makes this possible.
We allow a maximum of five people per group. In this way, we can promote cooperation and group work.
People who join these groups are beginners starting from scratch with no experience. Because everyone in these groups is supportive and positive, you will find that playing the piano together with other people is less stressful than individual lessons.
Classes are non-refundable and cannot be made up. You can still talk to the teacher to see if there is a free spot in another group for you.
You can, but check availability with the teacher.
Classes are not cumulative. This means that you cannot make up the lessons you missed in the following month.
Simply send an e-mail to info@studiomusicalmente.nl stating that you want to stop classes. Cancel your subscription one calendar month before the date you want to end your subscription.
All lessons already paid in advance cannot be compensated.
The course costs €139-€350 per month, depending on how many lessons per week you choose to take. The fee must be paid in advance.
These lessons are meant more as a fun way to start learning to play the piano. Private lessons are more for people with specific needs.
There are different levels of groups. In the individual introductory session, we can see which format best suits your level.
Classes follow the Dutch school calendar. You can view the vacations here. In total, per school year, there are 38 lessons.
You can pay for the trial lesson via bank transfer or payment request. Once you sign up for a subscription, your tuition will be collected monthly from your account. In the months of August through June, this happens around the 26th of the month. We don’t accept cash.
No, we will not send you an invoice if there are no classes in the month.
Yes, the cost is the same. We have calculated an average cost for the months with more and less than 4 lessons. This way, we have made it simpler for you and us, avoiding any confusion about pricing.
If you join us after the beginning of the month, you only pay for the remaining lessons of that month. After that, you will pay €139 per month.
No! There are several keyboards in our studio for you to play on.
